Healing Happens Here
Welcome to Well-Bean Counseling. I believe therapy is a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin exploring the experiences that have shaped you.
My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can gain new perspectives, reconnect with yourself, and create meaningful change.
Meet Aubrey Byrd, LISW
I’ve always been curious about what makes people who they are — the experiences, relationships, challenges, and strengths that shape us. That curiosity is what drew me to counseling and continues to guide my work today.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you should feel seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your authentic self, explore your experiences, and begin creating meaningful change.
Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to help them look at situations from a different perspective. Together, we can explore patterns, gain insight, build self-understanding, and identify new ways to move forward.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based practices. I integrate approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), trauma-focused approaches, Gottman Method principles, and psychodynamic therapy to create a personalized experience based on your unique needs.
I work with adults and couples throughout Ohio via telehealth, supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready to better understand yourself, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and refill your cup.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll often find me enjoying a good cup of coffee, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, or soaking up the beauty that nature has to offer. I find that some of the most meaningful moments come from slowing down, being present, and making space for the things that restore us.
I love hiking, spending time outside, and appreciating the peace and perspective that nature can bring. I especially enjoy Michigan summers — there’s something about being near the water, enjoying the sunshine, and creating memories that feels like a true reset.
My love of coffee is part of the inspiration behind Well-Bean Counseling — a reminder that we all need moments to pause, recharge, and refill our cup. Whether it’s through connection, nature, laughter, rest, or simply taking a moment for yourself, I believe caring for your own well-being is an essential part of living a meaningful life.
Crosley, my dog, may occasionally make an appearance during a telehealth session. He’s a great companion, an excellent listener, and takes confidentiality very seriously.
I strive to bring the same compassion, openness, and genuine care into my work with clients, creating a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self.
